3 more days..

3 more days to our big big day!

Syf's just 3 days away. We've been counting down from it's 150 over days and now it's just a single digit. We've been through all this together for 5 months since december band camp? Ups and downs, thick and thin. We've really worked hard and put in a lot of effort for just the 8-minute-performance, so please give your best shot. Don't leave any regret knowing that you could have done better. 3 days more only. Everyone has given their support for us; the school, principal, instructors, teachers, parents, uncle ali, etc. I am sure none of us want to disappoint anyone especially ourselves. Therefore, no matter what, we'll always stand by each other, give encouragement for each other as we are ping yi marching band family and be proud. Along this journey, we've made a tremendous progress from what i can see. i am sure we can do it, we will bring our glory back, we will make everyone proud of us. Many people have faith in us so we also must believe in ourselves. Don't be demoralised by what the others say and by what you hear.

When we wait for the results, it will feel like forever though may be it's merely 10 or 15 minutes. Standing there with our chins up high and holding our instruments very anxiously, hoping to get the best, "Ping Yi Secondary School, ......". It will be an unforgettable memory of your life. However, although the result is very important, the process is more important than the result so whatever medal that we'll get, be proud of it. "Pain is temporary. Glory is forever."

i'll just say today just isn't my day. hah. went to church then spent the whole day at home. managed to read up part 2 of my lit book which is like 6 chapters, i also practically read it. somewhat a practice for oral exam tmr. HAHAHA.

anyway, today's sermon was about 'humility of love'. learn to serve others instead of being served. and pastor also said, "Love is not choosy." it left me thinking for a short while, and yes i agree.
